As a young student athlete, I had a wonderful experience with a chiropractor after I experienced an injury while playing sports.
Chiropractic seemed like the perfect opportunity to to help people get out of pain and back into pursuing their goals.
I always say that my proudest achievements are my patient’s achievements. Every day I help people get back to doing what they love, from gardening, ultra marathons, and competitive sports.
Expertise and techniques
I was a competitive soccer player and swimmer, so I understand the demand of competitive sports.
I learned a wide variety of treatment techniques while in school and in my continuing education, including cupping, neurodynamics, rehabilitation, instrument-assisted and manual soft tissue therapies. These tools allow me to individualize every patient's care plan according to their specific complaint.
Core values
- Respect. I will always listen attentively to a patients concerns.
- Collaboration. There often isn’t one solution to the pain problem, I am a big supporter of the interdisciplinary healthcare approach.
- Integrity. I am always honest about the best care plan for my patients. If I’m not the one to help them, I will help them figure out who is!
Hobbies and interests
Like most of us here at the clinic, I enjoy being active. Hiking, camping, swimming, soccer, and gardening take up the majority of my downtime.
I love to travel and share information about places I’ve been – my husband calls me “the unofficial tour guide”. And I’m always looking for book recommendations so I can curl up with my two handsome kitty cats.
Why chiropractic?
Pain is mentally and physically draining. I love to see the transformation of people who were in significant pain return to their normal selves. Their personalities really shine when they aren’t clouded by pain.
