How often should I schedule chiropractic appointments for optimal results?

Frequency of treatment is dependent on your diagnosis, nature of injury and your current stage of recovery. Your Chiropractor will discuss treatment frequency with you after a detailed history and physical exam.

How long does a typical chiropractic session last, and what can I expect during the appointment?

Initial appointments are 30 - 40 minutes in length depending on the history and nature of the injury. Subsequent appointments are 15 - 20 minutes for non-complex cases. Your Chiropractor may suggest an extended visit (30 - 40 minutes) if you have multiple areas of injury or a complex case. During your initial assessment, expect your chiropractor to complete a history, assess your condition, educate you, and get started on treatment. Based on this assessment, your Chiropractor will establish a diagnosis and discuss your prognosis. They will work in partnership with you to develop an individualized treatment plan. Your progress will be monitored at subsequent visits and your Chiropractor may adjust your treatment according to changes in your body.
