Injection Therapies Process

In most cases, before you start with injection therapies, you’ll need an assessment with our naturopathic doctor. Here’s what to expect at Active Solutions Health + Sport.

1

Assessment

Before you can begin with injection therapies, you’ll start with an initial assessment with our naturopathic doctor, Dr. Godkin. We also offer a free 15 minute “meet and greet” consultation if you have questions about injection therapy (note that this is not the same as an assessment).

2

Injection

In some circumstances Dr. Godkin can and will do injection therapy during your initial assessment session. In other cases, he may not perform the injection therapy until your second session. If you have been referred from another practitioner for a specific treatment, the injection is usually performed on the initial visit.

3

Post-Treatment

You’ll be provided with post-treatment education following injection therapy. For some patients, this includes recommendations on exercises, stretches, and activities that they can do following injection therapy.
