Portrait of Delaine Stuart, Admin Assistant + Receptionist at Active Solutions Health + Sport

I know that a positive attitude and strong teamwork can transform the patient experience. I'm grateful to be part of a team that not only cares deeply about our patients but also supports each other like a family.

As I have a medical background with some admin experience, I thought ASHS would be a great fit when I was looking to rejoin the workforce after being a stay-at-home mom for years.

(I was also a patient of the clinic, which seems like a common theme around here!)

I feel like I am easygoing, and am able to adapt to the changes of a busy clinic like Active Solutions Health + Sport. And a lot has changed in years I have been here: more practitioners, a new office, and more programs being offered.

I’ve been with Active Solutions for 7 years and I have had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful people (and even snuggle their babies). Seeing our patients continue to improve week by week with the treatment they receive is very rewarding. I am grateful for the relationships I’ve made with the staff and our patients alike.

Unique skills

My organization skills are something I am very proud of. Which is great, because I need to be organized and prepared in my job. I love to organize and declutter the office so everything will run smoothly.

Core values

Service, passion, and teamwork.

Being an admin I am the first person a patients sees when they come into the clinic. I need to make a great first impression by greeting them and helping with any questions and concerns they might have and book them with the appropriate treatment they need.

I am passionate about my job and I feel it shows in my work and attitude. We laugh every day and It feels like a big happy family. I love my job!

Our practitioners count on us as much as we count on them. Active Solutions is a great team of professionals that all work well together.

Hobbies and interests

My hobbies include hiking the Holland Creek trail, going to the gym, and spending time with family and friends. And of course being the glorified taxi and #1 fan for my girls in their sports and activities!

Professional background

Spending 12 years as a medical lab assistant in various labs taught me many things: how to multitask, how to deal in stressful situations, and how to provide great customer care all while performing the job in a friendly and professional manner.
