What are your rates?
Each healthcare profession has recommended rates from their College. We review our rates on a yearly basis and set them based on the College recommendations and current mid island rates. Providing all our rates can be very confusing as the rates also depend on your coverage. We recommend you contact us directly to inquire about rate information for the therapy you are interested in.
What should I wear to my first appointment?
Please wear clothes that allow easy access to the area that we will be assessing and treating. These clothes should also be comfortable to exercise in and not restrict range of motion.
How long are the appointments?

The initial physiotherapy session is 45-60 minutes in length, with follow ups lasting 20-30 minutes.
Chiropractic care has an initial assessment that last ~30 minutes with follow-ups being 15-20 minutes.
Our naturopathic medicine appointments are initially 60-90 minutes with follow ups lasting 30-60 minutes depending on the case.

All therapy sessions are 1-on-1 appointments.
Who do I see? Do I have to see every therapist?
Many of our patients only see one therapist for treatment, but on occasion we will cross-refer patients if we believe another therapist will be able to best assist with the underlying problem.
As for who to book for that can be difficult as each therapist has a different skill set and techniques to treat your injury or condition. Please read the Treatments section of this website to inform your decision.
If you would like help getting set up with the appropriate therapist, please contact us – we are here to help!
How many sessions will I need?
The number of treatments varies depending on a multitude of factors, including severity and healing timelines.
Keep in mind that research suggests that the sooner a patient seeks rehabilitative care, the faster one is able to recover and experience positive change. We firmly believe in that statement, and suggest that early rehabilitation is the quickest route to full recovery.
What can I expect at my first visit?
Prior to your initial visit you will be sent some forms by email to fill out regarding your health complaint.
Once at the clinic, we will then complete a comprehensive assessment where your therapist listens to your concerns and collects information to understand the root of your problem. The session will be completed with some initial treatment, education for your injury, and review of a comprehensive treatment plan.
Can you direct bill the costs of my therapy session?
We do provide direct billing services for our patients for no extra charge. Please bring your extended health card with you to enable our receptionist to provide direct billing services.
Do I need a referral to make a booking?
You only need a referral if your extended health insurance requires it in order for them to cover your appointment. Referrals do not activate MSP coverage.
Will MSP cover my appointment?
MSP will not cover appointments at our clinic. You may be eligible for a $23 subsidy if you are entitled for Premium Assistance. To find out if you are eligible, contact MSP directly.
How much will my insurance cover for my visit?
As your insurance coverage is confidential, we are unable to determine how much your insurance will cover for your visit until you attend your first visit. You must contact your insurance provider to find out how much they will cover.
Can I book appointments online?
Yes, we have online booking available 24/7 – click here to access our online booking portal.
Please note that we have two locations to choose from when searching for available appointments. If you're struggling with finding available appointments, please contact us at either location.
How many sessions should I book?
For physiotherapy, chiropractic, and kinesiology, we suggest booking at least 3 follow-up appointments that are a week apart, as it can be difficult to book these appointments at a later date due to limited schedule availability with your therapist.
For naturopathic medicine and registered massage therapy, we suggest booking your first follow-up appointment one month after your initial appointment, as again, it can be difficult to book these appointments at a later date due to limited schedule availability with your therapist.
Are physiotherapy sessions covered by insurance?
Yes! Physiotherapy is covered under most extended health plans. We suggest you review your plan to see what coverage you currently have for physiotherapy services.
