I have always been motivated to help people, so healthcare was a logical career choice.
I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors and relaxing with family and friends, and I value a good work/life balance. Chiropractic has helped me to tick all of those boxes!
Proudest moments
I am proud every time I get people back to enjoying their favourite activities, hobbies, or everyday life and routine.
I was also fortunate to represent Canada at the 2015 Deaf Olympics in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia as medical staff.
In a larger context, I am very proud of opening and operating Active Solutions Health + Sport. We are a well-respected, multi-disciplinary health team that works together to help our patients. Giving back to the community that trusts us with their health is always gratifying.
Core values
I believe it’s important to treat every patient as an individual and with respect.
My goal is to help my patients identify the cause of their pain, provide an accurate diagnosis, and craft an individualized treatment strategy based on their goals.
Overcoming challenges
Having limited access to medical testing and imaging can be very difficult. Fortunately, we have made huge gains in this area through our multi-disciplinary approach at Active Solutions Health + Sport, and by developing inter-professional referral relationships with other local medical professionals.
Hobbies and interests
Spending time with my family, fishing, running, and acting as a volunteer fire fighter.
Why chiropractic?
I have a keen interest in both diagnosis and orthopaedics, as well as a genuine desire to help people return to the activities they love. I also find great satisfaction in using a hands-on approach to improve patients' well-being and quality of life.
Chiropractic care allows me to combine these passions and interests while helping others in the community enjoy a better quality of life.
